My name is Minnie Joseph I live at House 2 Karnte with my son, his partner and my granddaughter.  I’m from Areyonga. I speak Pitjantjatjara and have lived in Alice Springs most of my life and have been at Karnte Camp for 24 years. I have a lot of family that also live at Karnte Camp, There is my brother who lives at House 3, a niece lives at house 15 and I have a cousin living at House 17A. Judith Ansell (St Marys)

I was born at Palmer Valley Station on the South Stuart Highway. I grew up in Alice Springs,  and am a Pertame (Southern Arrernte) woman with strong family connections within Alice Springs. I had also lived at Ilparpa Town Camp for 10 years with my children and family. My parents lived on cattle stations therefore I had to board in town (Mission Block cottages) with my brothers and sisters and other children. I also knew of other children having to come into town to board at St Phillips and St Mary’s. I have 4 children and 8 grandchildren....

My Name Helen Gillen I was born at Jay Creek Outstation I am a Luritja lady and lived in Alice Springs all my life. I have lived at Little Sisters for 30 years with other family members. In the future I would like to see people stop drinking at Little Sisters and for Little Sisters to become a safe place for children to grow up. I would like to see the park area used and the community facility centre done up for all young people and old women to do programs such as cooking and sewing so we can show other young mothers how to clean and cook...

Hello my name is Chris Miller and I live at 3 Lechleitner Street, Morris Soak. I was born in Alice Springs and have lived here all my life. My language is Arrente, Luritja and Pintubi.  I have been at Morris Soak all my life, before this place was even built. We used to live in humpies and cart water from across the road, not so close we had to walk a little further to collect the water from one man. My name is Toby Farmer and I live at house 1 Karnte Camp. I was born in Warukuna WA and have been back forth from Alice Springs to Warukuna. I moved back to Alice Springs for dialysis in 2004. As a young man I worked as a grader driver for 12years and graded the road from Docker River to Mt Olga. My name is Yammie Connelly and I live at house 10 Karnte Camp. I was born at Armata Community and lived at Piplitjara for most of my life.
